Perform finite element modeling (FEM) of BIW parts of an Automotive and its sub-systems like suspensions, instrument panel (IP), console, transmission line, exhaust, fuel tank, etc. for various quality and technical guidelines. Determine intrusion and energy absorbing capacity of the beam in accordance with the principles of crashworthiness of Automotive. Involve in fatigue testing for the parts subjected to cyclic loading and calculate the fluctuating stress. Extract mid-surfaces with high-quality parameters for different plastic parts especially Instrument Panel, Console, A, B, and C Pillars of Automotive. Connect various parts of the sub-assembly as per the CAD data. Observe crash behavior in rails and deformation mode on both LH and RH. Prepare technical analysis report and design and design Presentation. Experience in the automotive industry is required. Skills Required: CATIA, ANSA, Hyper Mesh, Hyper View, ABAQUS, Ls Dyna, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint. Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any field) with 1 year of experience in a job offered or related occupation is required. Bachelor’s degree in any of the above-mentioned fields along with 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation is acceptable in lieu of the Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Work location: Iselin, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
